The hidden weight of anxiety

I’ve seen this in so many women I know — and I’ve felt it deeply myself. The underlying anxiety. That vague sense that something is “off,” but not being able to name it.

And what do we do, most of the time? We brush it away. We tell ourselves it’s nothing. We try not to dwell on it, not to waste our time. We push through, “man up,” and keep going.

Sometimes that works. Sometimes we actually feel fine for a while.
But often, it doesn’t. Often the unease grows louder — the anxiousness, the lack of inner peace — until one small thing pulls the ground out from under our feet.

This past year, I’ve gone through this cycle again and again. I kept pushing, kept moving forward, telling myself I wasn’t allowed to slow down. And yet, the body has its own way of saying “enough.” It forces us to stop. Sometimes through illness, sometimes through burnout, sometimes through complete lack of motivation… or just sheer overwhelm.

And no wonder, when I listen to how most of us talk to ourselves.
I hear it often from the wonderful women I work with - and I definitely have played it in my own mind about a gazillion times:

“I should have woken the kids earlier. Now it’s a rush and I haven’t even packed their school things. Where’s my laptop? And where is that meeting again? Why can’t I remember something so simple? And tonight is this party — I still need a babysitter…..Why hasn’t she replied yet? Ugh, I’ll have to message her again. After drop-off I’ll pick up groceries… but wait, what about the fridge? I’ll have to go later. I really should be more organized. This is SUCH. A. MESS. And I have no energy. How am I supposed to function like this the whole day?”

Sounds familiar?

Whatever your day looks like, whatever your inner dialogue sounds like, what’s missing is usually the same:
a sense of calm, inner peace, and safety.

This is why I created The Soft Reset.
Not only for women who feel burned out, but also for anyone who’s simply overwhelmed by daily life. For those moments when you feel like nothing you do is enough, when self-doubt is loud, when your inner voice is harsh instead of kind.

The Soft Reset is a gentle invitation to come back home to yourself. To feel safer. To invite calm and clarity back into your body. Because once that happens, things begin to shift.

You don’t have to chase motivation anymore —
✨ motivation begins to find you.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “this is me,” know that you’re not alone.
We don’t need more pressure, more “fixing,” or more pushing ourselves beyond our limits. What we truly need is gentleness. A moment to pause, breathe, and remember that safety and calm are our natural state.

That’s exactly why I created The Soft Reset — a 33-day invitation to meet yourself with more ease, more compassion, and more inner clarity. It’s not about forcing change or adding more to your plate. It’s about giving your body and mind the space to soften, so that true change can unfold.
